The time has come! I have almost completed the manuscript for Under the Aurora Sky so I have begun the process of gathering applications for potential beta readers!
If you are unfamiliar with the concept, beta readers read a manuscript, typically before it is professionally edited, to help an author check for plot holes, inconsistencies, or areas they should work on fleshing out/adding detail to, in order to help polish the manuscript before it goes to a professional editor.
This is a volunteer activity but I am working on ideas for perks I can offer my beta readers as a ‘Thank you’ for their time. As a beta reader you’ll gain access to a private section in my Reader Group on Discord that is exclusively for beta readers. I am hoping to built a team of permanent beta readers who will be able to read future manuscripts as well (I currently have 12 in process so I should be able to keep you in reading material!).
