In March I decided that after years of wanting to write, I was finally going to do it.
I came up with a great idea and started writing, but after two months and 13 chapters, I decided there was something lacking but I wasn’t sure what. I decided to set that story aside and write something else to exercise my writing muscles, so to speak.
After working on another piece for a bit, I decided I wanted to challenge myself to write a short story.
Short stories have always been hard for me, but after giving it some thought I came up with the perfect idea.
And now, here we are! I am SO excited to share that my very first story, named “Awakening”, is now available for pre-orders on Amazon! It is available in both Paperback and digital for your Kindle, and it will be released on July 28, 2023!
This story means a lot to me because it is actually inspired by the real-life story of the weekend my husband and I met 16 years ago! A lot of the story has been fictionalized, but there is also a lot in there that actually did happen.
